Yogurt is a portion of fresh but heavy food. Ayurveda advises to consume it with water, the liquid form of yogurt, traditionally known in India as Lassi. Patients suffering from constipation and diarrhea are advised to have yogurt or lassi in their daily diet to reduce the effect of the disorders.
Ghee has plenty of healing properties and keeps the skin healthy and hydrated. It boosts memory, improves metabolism, lowers the cholesterol level, and reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Cheese is a rich source of calcium and protein. A person with a digestive disorder should avoid cheese because it is hard and sticky. Instead, having soft cheese with a light layer is also a modified option for the person. Cheese with low amounts of sodium or no sodium is soft in nature and easy to consume.
